Susan Marlowe CPA Reviews: Wallace & Gromit in “A Matter of Loaf and Death”

Update 4/30/2012

Greetings from Susan Marlowe CPA! I am thrilled to be back at my reviewing! I am going to review a stop-motion animation film today. Wallace & Gromit in “A Matter of Loaf and Death”

I should start by saying that Wallace & Gromit are dear to Susan Marlowe’s heart. My favorite is, of course, Gromit, the long-suffering dog who knits, cooks and generally gets his friend out of trouble.

This is the latest short film for the duo and I have to say it is one of their best. Wallace, unlucky in love as always, has fallen head over heels for a woman who may or may not be a serial killer. Gromit plays sleuth to discover the truth and save his friend.

I will cut to the chase: Is this a good family film? Yes, it is but you should know your child. There is some dark humor in the short film (the plot, after all, revolves around a serial killer) and so you may want to be cautious if your child is extremely fearful. Parents, however, should enjoy the smart humor and fun dialogue that is the hallmark of a Wallace & Gromit production.

Thanks for reading this mini-review! See you later! Bye from Susan Marlowe CPA!
